Maple College Korea: Second location

Maple College Pusan (Busan) is looking for additional teachers for its Geumjang Dong location. Previously Maple was looking for the Kwangali Beach area, and now Maple is looking for teachers to work near the Pusan National University area. Pusan or Busan is the second largest in Korea with a population of just over 3.5 million. Experience Korea's International Film Festival, the Jagalchi fish market, shipping ports, and much more. Housing is wonderful, the loft apartment comes fully equipped and is just a short distance from the bus and subway station. The school is located 15 minutes away by bus. It takes about 20 minutes by subway to get downtown, however Pusan national university has many establishments that foreigners find great.
Currently Maple College has 2 foreign English teachers, 10 local teachers and over 100 students. Students range from elementary to middle school with controllable class sizes of 5 to 10 students. The school has been in operation for over 3 years, however Maple College has been established at another location in Pusan for over 10 years. Salary begins at 2.1 million Won or $ 2100 US
(more depending on experience) and 18,000 Won overtime. The one year contract includes include: airfare, health care, pension, severance pay, sponsored visa, and housing. Teachers work Monday through Friday from 2:30 – 9:30, with about 24 to 30 hours a week.
