San Luis Potosi, Mexico, Berlitz school needs teachers.  San Luis Potosi, is a central city in Mexico(half way between Mexico City and Monterrey), with about three quarters of a million people.  The lower population makes the city more comfortable to live in rather than the booming capital with a population of just under nine million.  The city is 1850m or 6,070 feet above sea level, which gives the city more mild temperatures than other lower elevated cities, however the city is still hot with desert-like climate.  History dates back to the 1500’s when early settlers searched for gold and silver in the near by mountains.  Old classically designed buildings are found throughout the city, churches and museums are numerous.  This is the ideal location for teachers wishing to experience Mexico without the high population and extremely hot temperatures.

Berlitz San Luis Potosi school, has been established since 2006, that follows a curriculum based from school chain’s head office.  Berlitz is one of the worlds leading English Language schools, with over 470 locations in 70 different countries with a history dating back to the late 1800’s.  The specific location has over 200 students and 14 language instructors.  Classes are smaller and more manageable with less than 10 students.  Students are all levels ranging from kindergarten to adults.  Teachers work 20 or more hours per week with 90 minute classes Monday through Friday.  Salary starts at about 7000 Mexican Pesos (about $700 US ).  Bonuses include Health Care, Sponsored Visa, free language classes, and first month of housing paid up to 1500 Pesos

The housing offered comes with: Bathroom with shower, Kitchen with stove and oven, Living room and three bedrooms.  The house is furnished with dishes, sofa, table/chairs, and desk.  From the home to school is only a ten minute walk and downtown San Luis Potosi is only a twenty minute bus ride.

The school requires teachers to have Resume, photo and TEFL/CELTA.  Applicants must receive an Apostille for TEFL/CELTA certificates.
