EF Jakarta Invites you to Work in Indonesia

This school chain has 7 locations Throughout the city and is looking for new instructors for Aug/Sept 08 & Jan/Feb 09. Jakarta, a booming city with over 8 million people and more than 20 million in the outlining area, is the capital city of the tropic Asian country Indonesia. Never have a cold winter day while teaching in this country knowing that you are sitting on an island almost directly on the equator. EF Jakarta currently has well more than 3000 students that follow a curriculum set out by the school. Each school has housing for the teachers that are located within five to ten minutes from each other. The teacher shared housing is generally under 5 years old that includes kitchen, living room, bathroom and individual private bedrooms. The house also comes complete with: TV, single, Microwave, Rice cooker, Toaster, Dishes, Sofa, Table/chairs, Desk, Washing machine, Iron, fan, and the much desired air conditioner.

The one year contract with EF Jakarta includes 23 hours of teaching a week with 4 classes a day (60 to 120 minutes), Monday through Friday. Each class contains between10 to 20 students. The students that attend this institution are of all levels (kindergarten to Adult). Monthly salary is 7850000 IDR (Indonesia Rupiahs) or about $850 USD with over time pay of 80000 IDR (about $9 USD) an hour. Benefits include: Airfare, Health Care, Sponsored Visa, 22 days paid leave, medical insurance, and a renewable one year contract.
