Teach in Yanji City, China: as close to North Korea as you can get

Closely bordering North Korea and Russia (map), Yanji China is about as close to Pyeongyang as you can get without actually teaching in North Korea. The city (population of just under half a million), though officially Chinese, has a large proportion of Korean residence. Step back in time to see what life was like in Korea and China in the early 1900’s without having to teach in the restricted North Korea. Street signs are written in both Chinese and Korean, Korean shops and restaurants mix with Chinese though out the city.
‘YES Youngdo English School,’ in Jilin Province China, is looking for a qualified ESL/EFL instructor with hard-working ethics, a great passion for teaching, and can follow arrangements of the school. The institution has been established for twenty years and is located in the city center. It currently employs four other foreign teachers. Single housing is included in the contract, and is located only five minutes from the school (the housing is under five years old). The one room apartment with living room and bathroom (with shower) comes with TV, VCR, single bed with bedding, Rice cooker, Dishes, Table/chairs, Desk, Washing machine, and fan. 
Working hours are from 22 to 30 hours per week Monday through Friday with each class being 80 to 120 minutes long. Classes follow a set curriculum and have between 10 and 20 students. The teacher is expected to sign a minimum of six month contract however, roundtrip flights are included if for a full year. Salary is between 4000 to 10 000 RMB a month ($580 to $1460 USD) depending on qualifications.Teacher should have at least one year teaching experience, a bachelor degree and TEFL/TESOL qualifications.
